"My name is Rose Kelley, and I graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts degree from McDaniel College. I also have my 90 hour Certification in Early Childhood. I have had a variety of work experiences over the years, but have worked with children in some capacity since I was a teenager. I have worked in Sunday schools, learning centers, vacation bible schools, and babysat for many years. I have worked at Providence for a year as the 2's assistant and am now the lead teacher for the 2's! I have four children of my own who are 12, 9, 7 and 3! I grew up in Towson and still live there today with my children, my husband and our sweet dog. I love the atmosphere at Providence; the true care and love for our children that is felt here is unmatched. I believe that the most important parts of a classroom family is trust, respect and love!”

7Ms. Carol, our school-age teacher, is a mother of 3 grown children, ages 32, 30 and 27. She began her teaching career by working as an Assistant in all-day Kindergarten. After 2 years in the Kindergarten classroom she began teaching Pre-K at Immaculate Heart of Mary School and has LOVED it for the last 11 years. Ms. Carol taught Pre-K here at Providence for seven years before taking on her new role with the school age children. She believes that learning should be fun, hands-on, and interactive. She also believes that while academics are important being a good citizen, problem solving and speaking to others in an appropriate manner are lessons that are invaluable!
