Ms. Rose, our 2's teacher, is a mother of four children. She began her teaching career at Providence as a 2's assistant and later became the 2's teacher after one year of being an assistant. She has her 90 hour Certification in Early Childhood. Ms. Rose has her Bachelors of Arts from McDaniel College. She believes that the most important parts of a classroom family is trust, respect and love.
Ms. Kaira, our 3's teacher, is a mother of two children in college and high school. She began her teaching career in Baltimore City Public Schools as a third grade teacher and later transferred and taught third grade in Baltimore County Public Schools. After leaving the county, she began working at St. John's Lutheran Preschool and Kindergarten where she taught for four years before accepting the teacher position here at Providence Childcare and Learning Center in the Three's room. Ms. Kaira has her degree in Elementary Education as well as her 99 hour certification in Early Childhood. She believes that being in a loving and nurturing environment is the most beneficial way for children to reach their fullest potential.
Ms. Leslie, our Pre-K teacher, is a mother of elementary age twins. She began her teaching career twelve years ago at St. John's Lutheran School, as an Assistant in the two's class. When she came to Providence nine years ago, she started teaching in the three's classroom and taught for three years before moving to the Pre-K class. Ms. Leslie has her 99 hour certification in Early Childhood and has spent 20+ years in childcare. Her love for children was a perfect fit here at Providence. She believes that children learn through example and that a happy and kind classroom is a perfect environment for young minds to grow.
