Miss Shannon, our two’s teacher, is a student at CCBC finishing her Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education. She began her love for children at a young age when she started babysitting for family and friends. Miss Shannon has years of experience along with a 90 hour certificate in Early Childhood Curriculum & Development and a 45 hour certificate in Infant and Toddler Child Care. She believes it is important for children to learn in a loving and positive atmosphere.

Ms. Carol, our school-age teacher, is a mother of 3 grown children, ages 30, 28 and 25. She began her teaching career by working as an Assistant in all-day Kindergarten. After 2 years in the Kindergarten classroom she began teaching Pre-K at Immaculate Heart of Mary School and has LOVED it for the last 11 years. Ms. Carol taught Pre-K here at Providence for seven years before taking on her new role with the school age children. She believes that learning should be fun, hands-on, and interactive. She also believes that while academics are important being a good citizen, problem solving and speaking to others in an appropriate manner are lessons that are invaluable!
